But they're a great set and the CARS addict in my life was ...

They're aqua beads...they never work 100% perfectly. But they're a great set and the CARS addict in my life was extremely happy. I like that if a piece comes off you can put it back on easily unlike the ones that use the iron. Plus who wants to iron things?

Excellent set for beginner

Purchased for my lightning McQueen loving 3 year old when it was a lightning deal. He loves it. He needs help with it. I like that the set had everything you need. You don’t need any starter sets first. He doesn’t have the attention to do a lot of these, so this smaller pack was perfect. If a bead breaks off after making it, it’s a quick fix to reattach. So no major meltdowns if it “breaks”. I would recommend ages 4 and up.
